| TOYO-SUN D¥D KIT consists of mainly photo sensor, sensor hole , test tubes, 3-sample
emulsions, Hi¥Lo switch, chargeable battery, portable case
and digital indicator. The photo sensor beams through the emulsion inside a
test tube. Numbers of rays of light penetrated indicate on the digital indicator
which can correspond to the plate-out, indirectly, consisting of density and mixing
level. The muddier in emulsion, the smaller in number of rays penetrated, the
better the oil is mixed with water. On the contrary, the larger in number the
lighter the oil mixed with water. A quantity of oil in the water is not always
correspond to the numbers which cover density plus mixing degree. Bubbles in the water are connected with transparency of sample emulsion in the test tube. Therefore the method of collection is important. Please refer to the instruction for applying on the following carefully. Each oil has different transparency figures. The ESI (emulsion stability index) of the sample affects the transparency figures. So, the kit measures figures after fixed time by turning on the holding switch, turning it off, you can find the separation speed of sample with the naked eye digitally. The kit is light in weight (4.3Kg) enough to carry at mill site by hand. |

First, in TOYO-SUNfs laboratory, we examine the oil which is now used for our
customerfs hot rolling oil system for the following contents, including oils
which are planning to be used in the near future. The purpose of the
examination is to inquire into the best plate-out of the oils within the range
of fixed density.i0.1`1 percentjAn ideal hot rolling oil system would spray emulsion evenly over the
entire width of the roll and provide even plate-out with a minimum oil
consumption. Then, the photo sensor measures the density plus mixing degree at
the close to the discharge point of mixer. The emulsion of each nozzle sprays
digitally. To achieve the best plate-out, sometimes we have to make a new
header with different nozzles, pipe size between header and mixer and the mixer
configuration.
At the same time, we measure both emulsion just after mixer and that of each nozzle spray by D¥D KIT digitally at customers proper hot steel mill. If necessary, we measure the volume of plate-out on the proper roll for reference. When the numbers in the digital indicator on the D¥D KIT for the proper hot rolling oil system correspond with those of laboratory. There is an ideal hot rolling oil system, which covers cost minimum, environmental problems and trouble free. In case that numbers of the D¥D KIT for proper system is different from those of TOYO-SUN laboratory. TOYO-SUN will inquire into what the problem is, and will surely solve the problem by using D¥D KIT. |

It
is very important for you to get sample into test tubes for achieving a correct
hot rolling oil system. Therefore, refer to the way of getting the samples on
the following. When you get samples from the pipe line just after the mixer. Be sure to open the valve completely not too much clockwise to throttle it, to avoid entering bubbles into the sample. When you get samples from the nozzle spray, insert the transparent tubes of approx. one M long for example into the outside DIA. To avoid entering bubbles into the sample. |
