Please open the top cover after removing a side lock. Next, turn on the power switch, and confirm the voltage meter to be 12 volt. After turning the transparency level switch to “Hi”, confirm the number in the digital transparency indicator to be approx. 1016±2. As to “Lo”, confirm the number to be approx. 508±2. |

The
transparency digital indicator shows the number, seconds after inserting the
sample in the test tube into the sensor hole, when hold switch is turned on. In
case of turning off, there is no time limit to be showed, therefore, the
transparency digital number is changing in case of quick separate emulsion in
time of passing by. Clean the used test tubes by clean water carefully. Don’t give a shock to the KIT, because it has built-in electric parts. |

Don’t
be sure to disassemble the KIT. You can continue to use the KIT in approx. two hours. It takes approx. five hours to charge the battery. To measure the high density well mixed emulsion, insert a sample emulsion in the test tube into the sensor hole, after you raise the snap switch to “HI” position and find “zero or one digit number” in the indicator. You should insert a small driver attached in the pocket on the top cover, into the small hole (φ3mm) at the left side of the indicator and turn it clockwise to the dead end. Then you can find out probably three digit number in the indicator. Then, write it down. Next, decide it as a basic number temporarily. After that insert another one into the sensor hole one by one. If unbalanced numbers biased are found, you should change the basic number to approx. a hole number of entire uneven numbers. |
| The mixing grade for emulsion by using
conventional injection mixer depends upon the water velocity in its orifice and
the volume of chamber having no relationship with density. There are a lot of
other parameters such as water temp., oil viscosity, kind of oil, which are
connected with plate-out (oil adhesion to the surface of roll) TOYO-SUN has
developed new mixer named HV MIXER to solve these problems which may occur the
big trouble such as skidding and banding.
